Himalayan Salt Lamps are specially designed lights made from natural salts which crystallized over 300 million years ago. The salt lamps connect negative ions with excess positive ions. When a Salt Lamp becomes warm, the salt crystal absorbs moisture from the atmosphere and builds up an ion field. The crystal releases negative ions into the atmosphere neutralizing positive ions.
